Classes
We offer private lessons, and group classes for all levels.
Private lessons focus on posture and technique, as well as solo repertoire.
In group classes we learn how to play together, to be responsible, work as a team, and learn from each other .
We also offer group classes for auditions.
Pre-Twinkle Group Class: there is not better way to learn how to play the violin than with friends. This class is offered to children ages 4-6, and meets 3 times a week (Max 8 students).
Private Classes: depending on the level of the student, we offer 30 min, 45 min, or 60 min weekly lessons.
Group Class: It is offered once a week to those who want to also explore and learn how to play with others. This class helps develop good listening skills, how to be responsible, and how to work as a team. Min. 10 students.
Audition Preparation: this class will help the student prepared for auditions for orchestras like All State, MYSO, EYSO, etc. Min. of 8 students.
"Jewel does a great job focusing on both individual and ensemble musical development in a fun, social setting. In addition to teaching my 9th grader individually, Jewel arranged for her to play weekly duets with another 9th grader, She also helped my daughter prepare for and record her audition for the Metropolitan Youth Symphony (MYSO).
